The terms on which we sell, and you buy, through this website.

These terms govern your use of this website and any purchase made through it. By placing an order you accept them. Please read them before you buy; if you do not accept them, do not place an order.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. By ordering you confirm that you are.

3. Your account

You may browse without an account, but an order requires one. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity under your account. Tell us immediately at care@velmorris.com if you believe it has been used without your permission.

We may suspend or close an account that is used fraudulently, to abuse a promotion, or in breach of these terms.

4. Products, descriptions and prices

We describe each fragrance as accurately as we can, including its notes and concentration. Fragrance is subjective and how a scent develops varies with skin, climate and wear — a difference in how a fragrance smells on you is not a defect.

Screens render colour differently, so packaging and bottle colour may differ slightly from the photographs.

All prices are in Indian Rupees and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. We may change prices at any time, but never after we have accepted your order.

5. When a contract is formed

Adding something to your basket or reaching the payment screen does not create a contract. Your order is an offer, which we accept when we send the order confirmation email. Until then we may decline it.

We may decline or cancel an order where the item is out of stock, where a price or description was published in error, where we cannot deliver to your address, or where we suspect fraud. If you have already paid and we decline the order, we refund you in full.

A fragrance marked Coming Soon or Out of Stock cannot be bought. If stock runs out between your payment and our processing it, the order is cancelled and the payment refunded automatically.

6. Payment

Payments are processed by Razorpay Software Private Limited. We accept cards, UPI, net banking and wallets as offered at checkout. We do not offer cash on delivery.

Your card and bank details are entered on Razorpay’s payment page and are handled by them. We never see or store your full card number.

An order is only confirmed once Razorpay tells us the payment succeeded. If a payment fails or is abandoned, the order stays unpaid and nothing is dispatched.

7. Delivery

We deliver within India. Orders are usually dispatched within one to two working days, and typically arrive within three to seven working days of dispatch — longer for addresses outside major cities.

These are estimates, not guarantees. Weather, strikes and courier delays are outside our control, though we will always help you chase a parcel.

Alcohol-based fragrances are restricted on some air routes, so some deliveries travel by road and take longer.

8. Cancellation, returns and refunds

9. Intellectual property

The VELMORRIS name, the contents of this site, its photographs and its copy belong to us and may not be reproduced commercially without our written permission.

10. Reviews and things you post

You may only review a fragrance you have bought. By posting a review or photograph you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to show it on the shop. We may remove anything unlawful, misleading, abusive, or not about the product.

11. Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability where it cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

Subject to that, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

Our fragrances are cosmetic products for external use. Discontinue use if irritation occurs. If you have sensitive skin or a known allergy, review the ingredients before use and patch-test first.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, without prejudice to your rights under consumer protection law to bring a complaint where you live.

13. Changes

We may amend these terms. The version in force when you place an order is the one that applies to it, so the date at the top matters.
